先前曾經推出每日英文單字例句(含字根、字首字尾整理)系列，一共48集。現在隔了好長一段時間，我又開始興起學習英文的想法。剛好現在AI十分盛行，而三款AI工具當中，經由我測試的結果，ChatGPT最適合用來學習英文，其次是Bing Chat(現在叫做Copilot) ，最差的是google的Bard(現在叫做 Gemini )。
不過，Bard很適合用來做初步的心理諮詢，建議三款AI工具都可以輪流試看看。我這邊也會整理之前學習過的英文字根資料，讓大家更有系統的學習英文字根、字首與字尾，同時附上每個英文單字的同義字與例句。廢話不多說，現在就讓我們開始吧！(註：付費版的ChatGPT功能更加強大，很多方面都適用，包括初步的心理諮詢)
字根path=pati=pass=<feel>，<suffer>感情，受苦
單字開頭的前綴“em-”通常表示“進入”或“內部”的意思。 它通常用來表達將某物置於特定條件或狀態中的意思。
1.empathy [ˋɛmpəθɪ]: Understanding and sharing the feelings of others.---n.感同身受，同感，共鳴。
例句：His empathy towards the grieving family was evident. (他對哀傷的家庭表現出同理心。)
"a-" = without（沒有），其變化型為an-。a- + 母音字母； an- + 子音字母。
2.apathy[ˋæpəθɪ]: Lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern.---n.冷漠。
例句：The student's apathy towards the subject affected his grades. (學生對這個科目的漠不關心影響了他的成績。)
字尾“-etic”用於構成形容詞，表示“屬於”或“有關”，並且源自名詞，大多數名詞以“-et”或“-ism”結尾。 它通常在英語中用來創建描述與特定概念或領域相關的特徵、品質或屬性的單字。
3.apathetic [͵æpəˋθɛtɪk]: Showing or feeling no interest, enthusiasm, or concern.---adj.冷漠的。
例句：His apathetic response disappointed the team. (他冷漠的回應讓整個團隊感到失望。)
4. empathetic[ɛmpəˋθɛtɪk]: Showing an ability to understand and share the feelings of others. ---adj.同感的。
例句：Her empathetic nature made her a great counselor. (她具有同理心的天性使她成為一位優秀的輔導員。)
pathetic [pəˋθɛtɪk]=pitiful---adj.可憐的。
例句：Her attempt at a joke was so pathetic that no one in the room laughed.（她試圖講笑話的表現太可憐，整個房間沒有人笑。)
字尾"ence"是一個常見的名詞字尾，表示某種特定的狀態、性質、或行為。這個字尾源於拉丁文，通常附在形容詞的基本形上，轉化成相應的名詞形式。它用來強調某事物的存在或某個抽象概念的特質。
patience [ˋpeʃəns]---n.耐心。
例句1：Developing patience is crucial in dealing with challenging situations.(在應對困難情況時培養耐心是至關重要的。)
例句2：She demonstrated great patience while teaching the complicated concept to her students.(她在向學生講解複雜概念時表現出極大的耐心。)
字首 "im" 通常表示否定或相反的含義。它是一個拉丁語的字首，用於形成否定詞，使原始詞的含義相反。

例句1：Waiting in long queues makes me impatient.(在長隊伍中等待使我不耐煩。)

字首co=col=com=con=cor=<with>、<together>
在單字中表示「一起；完全」的意思。它常常用來強調共同、完全的概念。
字尾 "ible" 是一個英文的後綴，用來形容表示「能夠…的」、「可以…的」的意思。當它附在一個動詞或名詞後面時，通常表示某事物具有特定的能力或性質。
compatible [kəmˋpætəb!]---adj.相容的。
例句1：The software should be compatible with different operating systems.(軟體應該與不同的操作系統相容。)
例句2：The couple is compatible in terms of their interests and values.(這對夫妻在興趣和價值觀方面是相容的。)
compatible--->反義字incompatible---adj.不相容的。

passion [ˋpæʃən]---n.熱情。
passionate=enthusiastic=impassioned---adj.熱情的。

"im" 在許多單字中通常表示否定，但在 "impassioned" 中，它實際上是一個字根 "in-" 或 "im-"，表示 "into" 或 "within" 的意思，而非否定。"Passioned" 是 "passion" 的形容詞形式，意指充滿強烈情感或激情的。
因此，"impassioned" 一詞結合了 "im-" 的正向意思和 "passioned" 的表達激情的含義，表示充滿熱情、強烈感情或激情的狀態。
